ISGH members elect the Executive Committee, the zone directors and the masjid councils. Membership is open to every Muslim in Greater Houston. It does not roll over — renew each year.
Online sign-up and login run on ISGH's membership system. In person: pick up a form at your nearest masjid; you will get an email to activate your account. Details must match a government ID. Terms and rules.

When you join ISGH you are committing to something bigger than yourself and helping to provide for the future of our community. But it is only with your help that ISGH can continue to serve the needs of the community for the next 40 years!

There are three categories for ISGH members to pick from:
Category I: Checkomatic*
- Checkomatic – monthly contribution of $10 and above (monthly contributions in the current year must equal the one-year membership fee of $40 for two people by June 30 to be eligible to vote).
Category II: Individual
- Individual one-year membership = $20/person
Category III: Lifetime
- Family lifetime membership* = $1,500
- Individual lifetime membership = $1,000
*A qualified member can also sign up for a lifetime membership with a donation of $25,000 or more to any cause in the current calendar year.
*A family membership includes husband and wife only.
New and renewing ISGH members – deadline for voting eligibility: June 30, 2026
(You may still sign up for 2026 membership after this date; however, voting rights will not be included.)
Please note: Membership does not roll over from year to year.
Online membership:
- New members have the ability to sign up with their credit card information. Please have your information, family information (if applicable), residential address, current email, and phone number ready.
- Members can log in and update their information.
- The information that you fill in on the application must reflect your identification (e.g., a government-issued ID such as a driver's license or passport).
In-person membership:
- New members can access the membership form in person at their nearest Islamic center.
- After your application has been processed, you will receive an email allowing you to log in to your membership account.
- The information that you fill in on the application must match your identification (e.g., a government-issued ID such as a driver's license or passport).

Family & individual membership
Become a member of ISGH and be a part of progress. You can choose from different levels of our membership plans, ranging from family to individual.
Family membership is $75 for 1 year, $180 for 3 years, and $285 for 5 years. Lifetime membership for a family is also available for a one-time payment of $1,500. Eligible family members that can be added include a spouse, parents, parents-in-law, and children/dependents 21 or under residing at the same address. Individual membership is $45 for 1 year, $110 for 3 years, $170 for 5 years, and $20 for students for 1 year.

Become a member of ISGH:
To become a member, please sign up at https://isgh.wildapricot.org/join-us/.
You will first be asked to choose your membership level. Once a level has been selected, fill out the rest of the membership form. After payment is submitted, you will receive a confirmation email of your membership with a link to add additional family members.
Access the ISGH Community Portal
Sign up for the community portal! This will give you access to view your membership status, renew your membership, view your center's meeting minutes, and make profile updates.
Renew your membership:
To renew your membership, log in to your membership account. Once you are logged in, select "Membership" from the left-side menu. Under your membership status, click on the "Renew" button. Complete the form with the payment details. After the payment has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation email of the renewal.
