All candidates must attend one of these orientation sessions. Candidates who do not attend, or who fail to provide a valid reason for their absence, will be deemed unqualified by the Election Commission and will not be included in the final nominations or on the electronic ballot.

Online Voting
Sunday, December 1, 2024, 10:00 AM–4:00 PM
Inshallah, all ISGH voting members who have opted for online voting will receive an email by Saturday, November 30, 2024. This email will be sent from vote@simplyvoting.com and will include detailed instructions, a unique password, and a link to cast your vote online. To ensure you receive this email, please add vote@simplyvoting.com to your safe senders list.
If you do not receive the email or encounter issues voting online, you can still vote in person at any early voting center or on Election Day at the River Oaks Islamic Center.
Online voting will open on Sunday, December 1, at 10:00 AM and will close at 4:00 PM.
Early Voting Update
Assalamu Alaikum, dear community members,
This year's election saw a lower-than-expected number of votes cast, according to the Election Commission's estimates. This was primarily due to a significant number of voters being marked as restricted in the voter list provided by ISGH to the Election Commission.
Long lines were observed at all polling stations, and many voters experienced frustration due to extended wait times. Additionally, the verification system for restricted voters faced significant challenges, becoming overwhelmed and collapsing under the volume of individuals requiring verification by the ISGH membership team.
Despite these issues, a total of 1,453 voters were able to cast their ballots. Below is a breakdown of the votes by zone:
- North Zone: 374
- Northwest Zone: 314
- Southeast Zone: 350
- South Zone: 91
- Southwest Zone: 274
- Non-segmented Votes: 50
Total Votes Cast: 1,453
JazakAllah Khair for your patience and participation in this early voting day. The main day of the ISGH election is Sunday, December 8, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The EC has requested that the ISGH Shura allow two additional voting centers on election day to accommodate community members who were unable to vote on early voting day. This requires Shura approval; the EC will update this page soon if permission is granted.

ISGH Election 2024 Results
Alhamdulillah, today marked the final voting day of the ISGH 2024 Election. The process was conducted in a peaceful and orderly manner, with a significant turnout of voters. The Election Commission maintained complete neutrality and upheld its commitment to the community by ensuring a fair and transparent election.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the voters who exercised their right to choose the next leadership of our esteemed organization, ISGH.
As all elected positions within ISGH are purely volunteer roles, we also want to express our appreciation to all the nominees for their dedication and willingness to serve the community to the best of their abilities. May Allah accept your efforts and sacrifices.
